Seminole County approves 'Orlando North' rebranding campaign

Officials say name will help attract more tourists to area

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – Seminole County commissioners have approved a tourism rebranding campaign in which the county will adopt the brand name "Orlando North."

The move comes after a recent study that said most tourists visiting Central Florida consider Seminole County the area north of Orlando.

Travel experts say when visitors are searching for a place to stay on the Internet, they typically search Orlando.

Officials say having "Orlando North Seminole County" as a slogan will help attract more people to the county.
