Osceola Kowboys kick Oviedo Lions to curb

OVIEDO, Fla. – The Osceola Kowboys stormed into Oviedo Friday night and upended the Oviedo Lions 39-14.

Loaded with speed and skill in the backfield, Osceola jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the second quarter behind a 28-yard touchdown run from Malcolm Davidson and a 51-yard sprint to the end zone by Marcus Edwards. 

The Kowboys, Class 7A State Finalists a season ago, improve to 2-0. Oviedo, which drops to 0-2, will go for its first win next week against crosstown rival Hagerty.
