ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Orange County deputies are investigating a stabbing and a shooting on Tuesday morning that occurred a block away from each other.

The victim died in a shooting on Sheryl Ann Drive hours after three people were stabbed on Lancaster Road Monday night.

Deputies said a woman contacted authorities after hearing gunshots and when her husband went outside, he saw a man was lying in the grass with gunshot wounds.

The man was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition. He died at the hospital, according to deputies.

No suspect information was available on the shooting.

It's not known if the two incidents are related.

Hours earlier, deputies said a witness at the scene reported that an argument occurred between two women at an apartment at 115 Lancaster Road before one of the women left and came back with a man.

Another argument began and the three victims were stabbed by an unknown person, according to OCSO.

One of the victims was able to tell deputies before being taken to the hospital that the assailant left in a red vehicle.

Deputies said the victims were all taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in serious condition.
