ORLANDO, Fla. – A 26-year-old man sitting in a car in front of a home was shot dead early Thursday in Orlando, and deputies are searching for two gunmen, according to authorities.
The fatal shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of Buchanan Bay Circle.
According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, a witness said the man was in a car when two others approached him and opened fire. The gunmen then ran away, the witness told deputies.
The victim was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
A description of the assailants was not known.
An investigation is ongoing.
