The FHP said Annette Walton died in the crash, which happened around 5:30 a.m. on North Apopka Vineland Road at Silver Star Road in Orlando.

Troopers said Jose Antonio Lane, 17, of Winter Garden, was driving a stolen Lexus and collided with a Mazda SUV driven by a 37-year-old Apopka man after one of them ran a red light.

Lane was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with critical injuries, according to troopers, who said the Apopka man suffered serious injuries.  It's not known which driver ran the red light, and an investigation is ongoing, the FHP said.

The Apopka man's SUV then struck Walton's car, killing her, according to troopers.

A stolen Dodge Challenger was also involved in the crash, and the driver and a passenger ran from the scene, according to the FHP. They remain on the loose, troopers said.

A man driving the fifth car involved in the wreck suffered minor injuries, the FHP said.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call the FHP at 407-737-2213.

Northbound lanes of Apopka Vineland and eastbound lanes of Silver Star were blocked in the area after the crash.
