Pregnant worker held at gunpoint in Burger King robbery, Ocala police say
Former workers named suspects in robbery
OCALA, Fla. – Ocala police say two former employees are wanted in a robbery of a Burger King where they held a pregnant worker at gunpoint.
Police said both Searron Brooks, 18, and Quentin Snow, 18, were former employees of the Burger King and had recently been fired. Brooks was arrested and charged with one count of robbery with a firearm.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Snow, but he has not been located.
The robbery was reported at the Burger King on East Silver Springs Boulevard on Thursday.
Police said one of the workers was sitting in the office doing inventory when she heard someone behind her approach and say "give me all the (expletive) money" and "open the safe."
The gunman ordered a worker to open the safe and put the money in a black backpack, according to the report. The other workers were forced to sit on the ground.
Police said at least $240 was stolen in the robbery. Paramedics were called for one worker who was so upset that she almost passed out, but the worker refused to be transported.
Anyone with information on the location of Snow is asked to contact the Ocala Police Department at 352-369-7000.
