Video shows sledgehammer, gun used in Apopka robbery

Orange County deputies search for 6 assailants

APOPKA, Fla. – Orange County sheriff's deputies on Monday released video showing four masked men robbing an Apopka business using a sledgehammer and a gun.

The robbery happened September 6 at Los Girasoles supermarket and restaurant at 1808 E. Semoran Blvd.

According to deputies, two employees were inside the closed business when six assailants entered and demanded money at gunpoint.  The other two robbers were not seen on video.

After taking some cash, the culprits ran away.

No one was injured.

Deputies said one of thieves has an identifiable tattoo of a T-shape on his right forearm.
