Client list in Brevard prostitution ring to be released

2 deputies fired after admitting involvement, officials say

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – The public may soon get to learn the names of the two Brevard County deputies fired, for their connection to a prostitution ring. But, those are not the only names that will be revealed.

According to our news partners at Florida Today, the State Attorney's Office says it will release the entire client list, once the investigation is complete.

The list was uncovered after another deputy was shot preparing to arrest suspected prostitute, Mary Derossett.

Investigators say it was her uncle, John Derossett, who shot agent John "Casey" Smith on Aug. 20.

Smith survived the shooting, but was severely wounded.

Sheriff Wayne Ivey says neither deputy who was fired, had anything to do with the shooting.
