WINDERMERE, Fla. – The lockdowns have been lifted at Orange County schools after police activity near the campuses, officials say.
Orange County Public Schools said Keene's Crossing Elementary in Windermere and Bridgewater Middle in Winter Garden were locked down Wednesday morning.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said deputies were investigating an attempted vehicle theft in the area, and the schools were locked down as a precaution.
The lockdowns were lifted just after 11 a.m.
No other details were immediately available.
