Man found shot to death days after double homicide
ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police have made an arrest in a deadly shooting at the Village Springs Apartment Complex.
Police said Altanesh Pough has been protecting people who killed Adam Williams, 25, who was found shot to death outside an apartment inside the Village Springs Apartment Complex on Cinderlane Parkway in Orlando.
Pough has been charged with accessory to first-degree murder and making false official statements to police.
Police said any other information can be forwarded to Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
Orlando police responded to the shooting around 5 a.m. and found Williams on the ground. He died a short time later, according to investigators.
Witnesses told Local 6 Williams was staying with relatives at the time of the shooting.
Williams' grandmother made an emotional plea, asking anyone with information to come forward.
"Adam said, 'I am going to be the one to bring this family back together,'" said his grandmother, Pastor Daisy Fisher. "We didn't understand what Adam was saying, but Adam knew. We all have a purpose and a plan for our life."
She stood in front of the media with Williams' sister Ashley Dolle and his mother Minnie Williams, who broke down crying several times during the news conference.
"They killed the house that he lived in, but his spirit and his soul went back to the God that gave it to him," Fisher said.
The incident happened two days after a man and a woman were found dead inside their apartment just across the pond. A 2-year-old child was found covered in blood.
It's not known if the two incidents are related.
