Engineering students repair UCF statue damaged by vandals

ORLANDO, Fla. – A sculpture at the University of Central Florida that was damaged by vandals has been repaired and is ready for its return.

On Sept. 3, security cameras captured a man climbing onto the back of the "Wind Dancer" pegasus statue.

UCF engineering students fixed the parts of the sculpture that were damaged.

The statue will be reinstalled Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

The Burnett Honors College is offering a $100 reward for the names of the vandals.
