Man, 81, killed in Orange County crash
Charges pending in fatal 2-vehicle wreck
An 81-year-old Rockledge man was killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. at state roads 520 and 528.
According to the FHP, a 2013 Nissan SUV driven by a 34-year-old Rockledge woman was headed north on State Road 520 and made a left turn to travel west on State Road 528.
The SUV, in which the 81-year-old man was a passenger, turned into the path of an oncoming Chevrolet four-door, which struck the SUV, troopers said.
The 81-year-old was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center and later died, the FHP said. The woman driving the SUV was not injured.
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 34-year-old Casselberry man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to ORMC, troopers said.
An investigation is ongoing, and charges are pending, the FHP said.
All lanes of S.R. 520 were blocked in the area after the crash.
