ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orange County family has been displaced after a fire caused several apartments to be evacuated on Thursday morning.

The fire was reported at the Village at Rosemont Preserve on Cinderlane Parkway.

Four apartments were forced to evacuate in the fire, according to Orlando fire officials. Three apartments have been cleared and the residents were allowed to return home.

A family of three will not be able to return to their home after the fire and the American Red Cross is assisting the family.

One person was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, but is expected to be OK, officials said.

Fire crews said they believe the blaze may have started in the bedroom of the apartment. Orlando Fire Department is working to determine what caused the fire.
