Groundbreaking ceremony to be held for west Orange relief school
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Today, the groundbreaking ceremony for a long-awaited relief high school in west Orange County will be held.
The new school comes after years of controversy, debate, lawsuits and changes.
In May, the Orange County Commission voted to approve the new school to help relieve overcrowding.
The new school will be built in an area off County Road 535 and Ficquette Road.
Thursday's ceremony will start at 4 p.m.
