Iguana caught on Cocoa Beach dock

Hunt for larger mate underway

COCOA, Fla. –  A loose 3.5-foot iguana was captured this afternoon at a Cocoa Beach canal dock and the hunt for her larger reptilian mate remains underway according to News 6 partner Florida Today.

Since Friday, Melbourne licensed wildlife trapper James Dean has baited raccoon cages with lettuce, cantaloupe and grapes at three waterfront homes off Fourth Street South, attempting to apprehend the invasive lizards.
