Woman shot by husband inside Holly Hill home dies, police say

2 children uninjured in Holly Hill shooting

HOLLY HILL, Fla. – The woman who was shot by her husband during a domestic dispute inside their Holly Hill home, with two children inside has died, according to police.

The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of 15th Street.

According to Holly Hill police, Anibal Muniz, 42, shot his wife Jeanette Ramos, 47, who was found in the couple's bedroom.  

Ramos died on Tuesday night from her injuries. The investigation into the shooting continues.

Police said that when they arrived, Muniz was standing outside with his hands in the air.  He was arrested on a charge of attempted murder, but charges were upgraded to homicide.

A 19-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl were home at the time of the shooting but were not injured, police said.
