Wife of Tavares mayor arrested for second time in week

Sharon Wolfe, 45, accused of violating conditions of release

TAVARES, Fla. – The wife of Tavares mayor Robert Wolfe has been re-arrested after being booked into jail over the weekend.

Sharon Wolfe, 45, was arrested Tuesday night on allegations of violating conditions of her original release.

Wolfe was initially arrested on Saturday after she was accused of attacking her twin sister with an oscillating fan and a fraternity paddle.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Wolfe's sister told deputies that Sharon Wolfe was trying to contact her through text messages after a judge had ordered Wolfe to not have contact with her sister after her arrest.
