ORLANDO, Fla. – A 31-year-old man was shot dead in an Orange County neighborhood, and deputies are investigating whether a second victim is related to the shooting.
Deputies said Darrin Verrett died in the shooting, which happened late Thursday on Greenfield Avenue off Silver Star Road.
A short time later, a person showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound. Deputies said a 26-year-old man who was suffering from several gunshot wounds arrived at a hospital. Authorities are investigating whether the victims are linked to the same shooting.
No details about the shooter or shooters have been released.
