According to the Marion County Sheriff's Office, a woman told authorities on Monday that she found a recording device hidden in a plant in a bathroom at Gator Smokes, a tobacco shop on SW 93rd Court in Ocala.

The woman took a picture of the device but did not remove it, deputies said.

Shortly after she left the restroom, she said the manager of the store, identified by deputies as Johnson, entered the bathroom two times.

A deputy arrived at the store, but said the device had been removed, the Sheriff's Office stated.

The device was found, however, in a storm drain in the store's parking lot, according to authorities.

Witness told deputies that they saw Johnson kneeling over the drain and it appeared that he dropped something in it.

The Sheriff's Office said detectives analyzed the SD card and found videos of Johnson planting the device in the bathroom and of the victim.

Johnson was arrested and booked into jail. He later posted a $1,000 bond and was released.
