TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – When 4-year-old Cameron Hand found out that one of his teachers was diagnosed with cancer he wanted to help, WCTV reports.

Cameron grabbed all the money in his piggy bank and put it in a Ziploc bag. He took all the money he had to Good Samaritan Preschool on Thursday.

There was a little over $100 in the bag for Betty Payne, his teacher who had been diagnosed with lung cancer three weeks ago.

Payne said that when she received the picture of Cameron holding the money she was in the middle of chemotherapy. "It's just a feeling that I can't explain," she said. " I just cried."

The school is accepting donations for Payne's chemotherapy.
