Detectives investigate after man seen touching himself in Poinciana

Man exposed himself to teen girl, deputies say

POINCIANA, Fla. – An Osceola County neighborhood is on alert for a man who is accused of touching himself in front of a young woman.

Deputies said the 19-year-old girl was walking south on San Lorenzo near Pompeii Drive around 6 a.m. when a car pulled up. She said she looked inside and saw a man touching himself.

Aaron Smith lives nearby and said, "It's kind of shocking to be honest with you, because I have two little girls, and it just makes you think, like, 'Damn, I can't have my kids outside.'"

Parents said they are disturbed to hear of yet another man seen touching himself in their neighborhood. They said it's happened several times -- as recently as two years ago, and just a few blocks away.

"We all need to be more alert, talk to each other more, work together inside the same neighborhood, because if no one's aware or speaking up about it it's going to keep happening," Smith said.

The Sheriff's Office said they're looking to see if Wednesday's case may be connected to any others.

Anyone with any information on the incident is asked to contact Crimeline at 800-423-8477.
