Palm Coast Pizza vandalized over cheesy garlic knots

4 suspects arrested after incident

PALM COAST, Fla. – Police say four people were arrested Friday in connection with a burglary at Palm Coast Pizza at 1755 Palm Harbor Parkway.

Employees at the restaurant said Jessica Conti got into an argument with them because cheese was put on her order of garlic knots. They said Jessica Conti felt disrespected by the way money was put down on the counter. Vincent Conti, Shawn Cody and Hareem Jones then went into the store and pushed the register and fax machine off the counter, employees said.

The four suspects then entered the kitchen and started throwing food everywhere, employees said.

The suspects left the restaurant but were found by police at 56 Leidel Drive. They were arrested and charged with burglary of an occupied structure and criminal mischief.

Police said the property damage was estimated to be less than $1,000.

Employees told police they want to press charges. The incident was caught on video, police said.
