2 people killed when man on dirt bike strikes pedestrian

Clayvon Foster, 30, Marie Edouard, 59, die from injuries during crash

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Troopers with Florida Highway Patrol said a man riding a dirt bike hit and killed a woman Saturday evening.

Clayvon Foster, 30, was also killed when the dirt bike he was riding hit Marie Edouard, 59.

"That dirt bike, he loved that dirt bike," said Foster's uncle, Michael Wright.

Wright said the dirt bike was his nephew's biggest passion.

"He's going to be surely missed," Wright said. "He has a whole bunch of friends and he loved to ride a bike. I always tell him not to ride it so fast."

Troopers said Foster's dirt bike wasn't registered when he rode it on the sidewalk along Powers Drive near Denson Drive at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Foster lost control of his bike and hit Edouard as she walked by. Both Foster and Edouard were killed.

Wright said investigators are trying to locate other riders who were with Foster and didn't stop to render aid.

"They are looking the other three -- the other two or three -- riders who were with him, because they left him when he got into the accident," said Wright.

Foster's family said his organs are being donated and he will be buried in Boston, where he is from.

Foster was not wearing his helmet at the time of the accident.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call FHP at 407-737-2213.
