Woman robbed taxi driver at gunpoint arrested, cops say

Woman pulled gun on Mears driver

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police have arrested on Monday the woman who they say robbed a taxi driver at gunpoint.

Devine Lovett, 31, was charged with armed robbery with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in the Feb. 15 incident.

Investigators say as the cab was nearing Washington Street and North Orange Blossom Trail, Lovett pulled out a gun and demanded the driver's valuables. 

Lovett was taken into custody on Monday and booked into Orange County jail.
