APOPKA, Fla. – An Orange County Sheriff's Office deputy and another driver were taken to area hospitals Tuesday night after a patrol vehicle was involved in a rollover crash.
Officials said the two-vehicle wreck happened near West Kelly Park and Plymouth Sorrento roads.
According to authorities, the deputy left a call and was driving through the intersection when his car was T-boned by an SUV. The deputy's vehicle overturned into a ditch, but neither driver was seriously injured, troopers said.
Both drivers claimed to have a green light, and there were no witnesses, so the FHP said no charges would be filed in the case.
