ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orlando police officer who was seen on video fighting with a homeless man in the city's Parramore area has been verbally reprimanded.

The Orlando Police Citizens Review Board voted to reprimand Officer James Wilson after an investigation into possible code violations.

Police say Terre Johnson got into a fight with an Orlando Police Department officer in August and the confrontation was captured on video.

The video shows Wilson straddling and hitting Johnson in the middle of a Parramore street.

A verbal reprimand means there will be no written file about the incident.

Johnson fought back and was eventually charged with resisting an officer with violence. He was found not guilty of battery by a judge in January.
