CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – After its launch from Cape Canaveral Friday, the SpaceX rocket landed hard on the drone ship, SpaceX says.
SpaceX launched its Falcon 9 rocket on Friday evening from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station after four previous attempts were scrubbed.

The launch window opened at 6:35 p.m.
Previous attempts last week were delayed due to a series of fuel and range issues. A fourth attempt on Tuesday was pushed to Friday after upper-level winds exceeded acceptable limits.
The company launched the satellite for Luxembourg-based SES, which will serve more than 20 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
