2 children abducted in Brevard County, deputies say

Officials say father may be headed to Houston with children

MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. – A 4-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl were abducted by their biological father in Brevard County, and they may be headed to Houston, according to deputies.

The Brevard County Sheriff's Office said Thursday that it is investigating a custodial child abduction of Patrick Earl Scott III and his sister, Paris Enani Scott, both of Merritt Island.

Deputies said the children are believed to be with their biological father, Patrick Earl Scott Jr., 28.

The children were last seen around 1 a.m. Thursday by their mother, who dropped them off with Scott at the Econolodge at 250 E. Merritt Island Causeway on Merritt Island.

Paris was last seen wearing "Frozen" pajamas, and Patrick was last seen wearing Spiderman pajamas.

Deputies said Scott could be driving a gold 2015 Ford Fusion with Texas license plates.
