1 new Zika case in Orange County

59 total cases in Florida

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A new Zika case confirmed in the state of Florida was reported in Orange County Friday, according to the Florida Department of Health. 

On Thursday, two cases were confirmed in Osceola County, bringing the total of new cases reported in Florida now to 59.

All cases in the state have been travel-related. 

Five of the confirmed cases in the state of Florida are still exhibiting symptoms, the department said. 

The following counties have reported Zika cases: 

Alachua 1
Brevard 1
Broward 8
Hillsborough 3
Lee 3
Miami-Dade 27
Orange 4
Osceola 3
Polk 2
Santa Rosa 1
Seminole 1
St. Johns 1
Cases involving pregnant women* 4
Total 59
