ORLANDO, Fla. – A circular driveway at Orlando Regional Medical Center will temporarily close this weekend, officials said.

The circular driveway at Kuhl Avenue and Underwood Street will temporarily close Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Officials said the intersection at Kuhl and Underwood will also temporarily close during the two-day time period.

The temporary closures are because of a milling and resurfacing process to smooth and even the areas, following the completion of the campus' redesign and renovation project, Orlando Regional Medical Center said.

"Patient drop-off, discharges and pickups will be through the UF Health Cancer Center entrance while the ORMC circular driveway is closed for the weekend," Orlando Regional Medical Center said. "Also, drivers may continue to use Parking Deck C."

Wayfinding signs are expected to be provided both days. Officials said pedestrian access to the center's main entrance will not change during the closure periods.

ORMC’s Emergency Department entrance at Sturtevant Street will not change during the two-day time periods, officials said.
