Four-car accident leaves 2 dead, 2 critical, trooper say

Accident occurred on A1A in Flagler county

FLAGER COUNTY, Fla. – An accident in Flagler County leaves two people dead and two in critical condition after four cars collide on A1A, trooper said.

The Florida Highway Patrol said that the accident occurred at 6:25 p.m. Friday on A1A and Mariners Drive in Flagler County when two cars struck each other head-on causing two other cars to also collide with the pileup.

Kathleen Jonas Boos, 66, and her husband, Robert Alan Boos, 68, both from Palm Coast, were killed when their car collided head-on with another car. The unidentified driver is listed in critical condition at Halifax Hospital, troopers said.

Brittinia Dimattia, 21, of Albuquerque, New Mexico was driving behind the cars that crashed and struck one of the cars in the pileup. She is listed in critical condition at Florida Hospital Flagler according to FHP reports.

The fourth car involved had four people inside. None of them suffered any injuries.

No word on any charges filed in the accident.
