Man arrested for firing gun near Greyhound bus station

ORLANDO, Fla. – A 26-year-old man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly fired a gun near a Greyhound bus station in Orlando, according to the Orlando Police Department

Police said the incident happened at the bus station at 555 North John Young Parkway at 3:15 p.m. No injuries were reported in the shooting, but police saw Pierre Michael Louis-Jacques leaving the area.

Louis-Jacques ran from police, but was pinned down by an officer while going over a chain-link fence. Police said he pulled out the gun and dropped it as officers pinned him under the fence.

Louis-Jacques was arrested without further incident and the gun was recovered.

Witnesses identified Louis-Jacques as the same person who fired the gun.
