DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A Volusia County Beach Safety officer is recovering after being hurt on the job.
According to officials, an officer was attempting to make an alcohol-related arrest Wednesday on Daytona Beach when there was a scuffle and the officer's shoulder was dislocated.
Beach patrol says it has made 130 alcohol violation arrests in the past week.
