Cocoa police seek restaurant burglar

Cash, shoes stolen from VIetnamese restaurant

COCOA, Fla. – Police in Cocoa are seeking to identify a man suspected in a Feb. 27 burglary of a restaurant.

According to News 6 partner Florida Today, police say a man was seen on video burglarizing Mamasan's Vietnamese Cafe at 400 N. Cocoa Blvd. about 5 a.m. that day. The video shows the man entering through a rear window before forcing open a cash register and stealing the cash inside.

The thief was described as a white man with a goatee who was seen wearing a light-colored, trench coat-style jacket, light-colored pants, a light-colored knit cap and dark shoes. He is also alleged to have stolen a pair of black Nike "Shox" shoes from the business.
