MARION COUNTY, Fla. – An elderly couple was attacked during a home invasion early Thursday morning, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
Three men entered the home on the 7000 block of NW 5th Lane in Ocala around 5 a.m. and demanded money and guns, officials said.
Officials said the men stole $500 worth of miscellaneous items from the victims homes.
The couple asked the intruders to leave and a struggled ensued, the couple received several minor injuries.
The suspects are described to be between the ages of 20 and 30 years old.
Two of the men are described as black males between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall and the third man is described as being a white or Hispanic male about 5 feet tall with a medium build.
The case is an active and open investigation.
