Investigation underway after man found with gunshot wounds at 7-Eleven

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Authorities are investigating a shooting after a man was found with gunshot wounds at a 7-Eleven on Tuesday night.

Police said they received a call of a wounded man at the 7-Eleven in the 8600 block of Maitland Summit Boulevard.

The man was first shot at the Extended Inn on Pennbrook Drive in his car and was driven to the 7-Eleven after the shooting to call for help, according to police.

Police said the man was shot three times, twice in his torso and once in his leg.

The man was taken to Orange Regional Medical Center as a trauma alert, but is expected to be OK.

Maitland police is investigating and trying to get information on any possible suspects. Police said they have received conflicting reports from the victim and witnesses.
