Man accused of posession, promoting child pornography
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A 25-year-old Osceola County man was arrested Wednesday on 20 counts of possession of child pornography and promoting sexual performance by minors.
Osceola County Sheriff's detectives arrested Luis Junior Lopez. He is charged with 13 counts of possession of a photo/movie sexual performance of a child and seven counts of promoting photo or movie of sexual performance.
"The investigation began in early February when detectives identified an electronic device with an IP address that was linked to child pornography. Detectives discovered the IP address was being used at an address in Kissimmee," authorities said.
Detectives executed a search warrant, 2648 Arrow Lane in Kissimmee. Lopez cooperated with the investigation. Based on his statements and the evidence, Lopez was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail.
The investigation is continuing with additional charges pending, according to the news release.
