Man threatened mom, tried to break into home with pitchfork, police say


CLERMONT, Fla. – Clermont police arrested a man who they said threatened his mother and tried to break into her house with a pitchfork.

Paul Aleshire is facing multiple charges, including attempted burglary and aggravated assault in the Sunday incident.

Police said he was trying to break into his mother's home to take her pain pills and threatened he was going to, "have her taken care of."

When officers found Aleshire, they said he was under the influence of drugs and that he was trying to take the metal screened-in front door apart.

He was arrested and booked into Lake County jail.
