ORLANDO, Fla. – Orange County Fire Rescue rescued more than a dozen ducklings that were stuck in a storm drain on Monday.

Firefighters in Engine 53/C Shift were dispatched at 10:47 a.m. to 730 W. Sand Lake Road after a concerned citizen called to report the trapped ducklings.

Fire officials said the mother duck was very upset when her babies fell in the storm drain, but it was a happy ending when the family was reunited.

Pictures of the rescue from fire officials showed firefighter Matthew Gamwell in the storm drain as the ducklings were rescued.

After they were rescued, the ducklings were pictured following their mother across the road.
