Krispy Kreme is celebrating Super Hero Day by giving away free doughnuts on April 28.
Customers who buy any dozen doughnuts at regular menu price will get a second original glazed dozen doughnuts free.

Super hero costumes are not required, but the chain says they are encouraged.
"Share a delicious sweet treat to show your appreciation for those who impact you in big and small ways," said Jenny Bellanca, vice president of operations for Florida Family Foods.
