DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Daytona Beach police arrested a woman on Tuesday who they say punched a toddler in the head at a local park.
Cynthia Lewis was sitting in the area of Sunnyland Park on Washington where the child was playing when she punched the 3-year-old girl in the head, according to police.

It's not clear what caused the incident to happen, but police say Lewis smelled like alcohol when they arrived on the scene.
Lewis faces charges of resisting arrest and hurting a child.
The girl is expected to be OK.
