ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police say the officer who was run down during a traffic stop is back in rehab after a setback during a surgery.

William Anderson was badly hurt after when a car hit him and drove off during a traffic stop last July.

Anderson recently underwent spinal cord surgery, and police tweeted that doctors believe he had pneumonia. Anderson suffered a setback during surgery and was in the ICU, but has since been discharged.

The suspected driver in the hit-and-run, Edward Kelty, is facing an attempted second-degree murder charge.
