City of Orlando preparing for Tropical Storm Colin

City of Orlando keeping residents updated as storm develops

As the City of Orlando continues to monitor the development of Tropical Storm Colin, it asks that residents continue to stay informed and prepared with the help of the city's suggestions.

Yard Debris and Pick up:

The City is asking residents not to place tree trimmings or other types of loose waste or debris at their curb in order to reduce flooding.

These items tend to clog storm drains and cause flooding during severe weather.

As of now, normal yard waste pick up will continue for Tuesday morning, but residents are still encouraged to hold their waste if at all possible.

Citizens should try to stay informed as the storm develops and can get updates from the City in many ways, including:
