EDGEWATER, Fla. – An Edgewater man is in custody and faces 30 counts of child pornography charges, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office said.

Daniel Cravener, 53, is facing second-degree felony charges for downloaded images of victims, which are believed to be  as young as 5-year-old children.

The investigation into Cravener launched in February after police received a tip about someone downloading child pornography.

In April, investigators searched Cravener’s Edgewater home and removed several computers, a thumb drive, a memory stick, a cellphone and various CDs and DVDs.

Sheriff’s Office investigators found images of victims believe to be between the ages of 5-8.

Cravener remains in custody in Georgia and is being held on Laurens County Jail on $450,000 bond.
