Tarvaris Jackson charged with aggravated assault

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A former NFL quarterback was arrested in Osceola County on aggravated assault charges Friday morning.

Deputies said Tarvaris Jackson, 33,  was vacationing in Kissimmee from Alabama and was arguing with an unidentified woman when he became violent.

According to the report, Jackson grabbed his gun, loaded it and pointed it at a woman, saying "I'll kill you (expletive)."

Jackson, who deputies said was intoxicated at the time of the incident, was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail. The victim was given a domestic violence worksheet.

Jackson previously played for the Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings.
