Woman beaten, tied up, threatened in Deltona home invasion

Suspects still at large

DELTONA, Fla. – The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two suspects who robbed a home and took the victim's car early Tuesday morning in Deltona.

The incident happened at 2423 Penton Court when two men came into the home and allegedly beat and tied  Cayla Jung’s hands and ankles.

The Sheriff’s Office said the woman told them that the suspects made a verbal threat to kill her.

Cayla Jung's teen brother, Christian Jung,  entered the room where the attack happened and tried to help her.

He was also beaten and suffered a puncture wound to his shoulder and scrapes to this neck, th eSheriff’s Office said.

He was taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital and is in stable condition.

Cayla Jung was uninjured.

The suspects left with the victim's car and abandoned the car about a mile away off McBride Ave.

The suspects are still at large.

Sheriff’s Office described the suspects -- one Caucasian, one African-American- as tall, thin males wearing black clothes with masks and carrying backpacks.
