New alligator warning signs posted at Orange County parks

50 signs posted out of abundance of caution

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orange County is taking new steps to keep people safe from alligators.

The Parks and Recreation department put up 50 new signs at parks popular for swimming, including Moss and Kelly parks.

A county representative says the signs were put up out of an abundance of caution.

The move follows similar steps from Disney last month, when the parks added warning signs after a gator killed a toddler at the Grand Floridian Resort.
