Flights from Orlando-Sanford International Airport canceled due to mechanical issues

Flights scheduled to Toledo, Tulsa canceled, Allegiant Air says

SANFORD, Fla. – Two Allegiant Air flights from Orlando-Sanford International Airport were canceled Friday because of mechanical issues, the airline said.

Flight 704 to Toledo and Flight 794 to Tulsa were canceled.

"We understand this interferes with the plans of our passengers, and sincerely apologize for the disruption," an Allegiant Airline official said.

Passengers were given the option to travel on another Allegiant flight free of charge. The airline said passengers who no longer wished to travel will be automatically issued a full refund for the flights on their itinerary that they did not take.

Each passenger will also receive a voucher for $150 toward future travel on Allegiant, the airline said.
