SR 408 Lake Underhill bridge to light up in honor of Pulse shooting victims

ORLANDO, Fla. – The State Road 408 Lake Underhill bridge will light up in a rainbow of colors on Tuesday, which marks one month since the Pulse nightclub shooting.

The bridge will light up at 2:02 a.m. in honor of the 49 victims slain in the June 12 shooting at the club.

"The Central Florida Expressway Authority extends gratitude to our community partners at SESCO Lighting and Jorgensen Contract Services for their contributions in the design, programming and installation of the bridge’s Philips Color Kinetics dynamic color changing system provided by Philips Lighting," officials said in a release.

The Lake Eola fountain will also be lit up in rainbow colors Monday and Tuesday night.

The massacre took 49 lives and wounded 53 others. It is the deadliest mass shooting caused by one man in modern U.S. history.
