Cops: Florida woman crashes into boyfriend's truck wearing nothing but bra

Brianda Ramirez says boyfriend slammed on brakes while she was following him

BELLE GLADE, Fla. – A Clewiston woman was arrested Friday in Palm Beach County after she slammed her car into her boyfriend's truck while wearing nothing but a bra, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office report.

Brianda Ramirez, 25, faces a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

According to the report, Ramirez told detectives that her boyfriend, Grabiel Sandoval, 38, asked her to drive him to her Clewiston apartment so that they could spend more time together before he left for Texas in a few days. After they had sex, Ramirez said, Sandoval called someone and asked to be picked up.

Ramirez told detectives that she tried to get Sandoval to let her drive him back to his aunt's home in Belle Glade, but he just walked out of her apartment.

"Brianda said she put on a bra but nothing else and got into her vehicle, so she drove to Belle Glade still not dressed to wait on him," the report said.

Ramirez waited for Sandoval at his aunt's home and tried to get him to talk to her, but instead he got into his truck and sped away, the report said.

She told detectives that she tried to catch up to Sandoval, but she believed that he "slammed on his brakes," causing her to rear-end his truck with her Ford Fusion.

Sandoval's truck overturned, landing on its roof, and a Ford Fusion was seen driving away after the crash.

A witness followed the car north on U.S. Highway 27 and called 911. Deputies later stopped the car near the Hendry County line and took Ramirez into custody.

Ramirez told detectives that she "panicked and fled the scene."

"Brianda said she was going home to get dressed and was going to turn herself in later on in the evening when she got dressed," the report said.

Ramirez told detectives that Sandoval is her only source of income -- paying for her apartment, car payment and insurance -- because she doesn't have a job. She said she "relies on his income to survive."
